Jon Lee Butler

Jon Lee Butler of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Monday, June 5th 2023 at the age of 80. He was born on June 4th, 1943 in North Manchester, Indiana the son of the late Joseph and Maxine Butler. Jon grew up in Laketon, Indiana and served in the United States Navy from 1964 to 1970. He was a restaurateur and owned the Speedway Café and Pine Valley Bar and Grill. He was an incredible father, loved to play golf, attend his grandchildren’s sporting events and forage for mushrooms. Jon is survived by his son, Joshua Butler (wife Noelle); and his daughter, Jaela Butler; grandchildren, Madison, Wesley, Lillian, Annetta White, Jackson and Jasper Butler; ex-wife and dear friend, Joyce Butler; siblings, Jennifer Butler, Joyce Minor, Jocelyn Butler and Jeff Butler. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Maxine Butler (Kreiter); siblings Larry and Jerry Butler and Judy Briner. Family and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life on Friday, June 9, 2023 from 1pm to 6pm at the American Legion Post 47, 601 Reed Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815.
