Jane Ann Nycum

Jane Ann Nycum, 77, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024. Jane was born June 20, 1947 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, daughter to the late Richard Wayne and Mary Elizabeth (Kappel) Weaver. Jane worked for the State of Indiana as a Registered Nurse and Social Worker. She was also honored to have been the first female paramedic. Jane is survived by her husband, Martin Nycum; children, Richard Kiessling, Amy R. (Denny) Brandt, and Joseph Bailey; 16 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and sister, Julie (Dan) Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Allen Weaver; and sister, Mary Jo Relue. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
