James "Jim" Borel, 70, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024. He was born on November 20, 1954 to the late Robert Borel and Frances (McElroy) Ponder. He attended a technical school after high school and worked as a CNA and Home Health Aid for over 30 years.
James is survived by his siblings, Anne Ditslear and David Borel; his nieces and nephews, David Bopp, Adrienne Bopp, Aaron Borel, Melissa (Sam) Ashby, and Alyssa (Ryan) Davenport; and his great-niece and great-nephew, Ella Davenport and Collin Davenport. He was also preceded in passing by his brother, Robert Borel; and brother-in-law, Paul Ditslear.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809, with visitation one hour prior. Final Resting at Prairie Grove Cemetery.
