Jack L. Beckman

Jack L. Beckman, 70, died Saturday, March 14, 2020 after suffering a stroke on Thursday, March 5, 2020. Jack was born March 25, 1949 in Fort Wayne, IN. Jack loved his family and they were the joy of his life. Jack retired in 2015 after 36 years at Northeastern REMC in Columbia City. Jack served His Lord faithfully for 49 years at the Waynedale Baptist Church where he served as teacher, deacon, and bus pastor. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Martha; a daughter, Candy Foster; 5 grandchildren, Jacob (20), Ashlynn (18), Kolton (15), Caleb (13), and Aaron (10); Jack has 1 sister, Roberta "Bobbi" Daniels; and 2 nieces. Jack will be greatly missed by his family and his church family. A memorial service will be held at 6pm on Friday, March 20, 2020 at the Waynedale Baptist Church 633 Lower Huntington Road with visitation 2 hours prior. Memorial contributions may be made to the Waynedale Baptist Church Debt Retirement Fund.
