Hazel Josie Thomas

Hazel Josie Thomas, 95, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Signature Healthcare of Fort Wayne. Josie was born December, 16, 1920; on a farm near Grass Creek, Ind. She was a daughter of the late Albert and Altha (Gunter) Thomas. She graduated from Elmhurst High School, class of 1939. She married the late Wayne Harding and had one child, Gloria May, who passed at 9 months old. She was employed with GE for over 40 years, from which she retired. She is survived by her nephew, William (Janet) Thomas of Albion, Ind.; nieces, Marilyn (Keith) (Smothermon) Copenhaver, Judy (Carl) (Click) Gable, both of Fort Wayne, and Danielle (Greg) (Barkley) Rolfes of St. Louis, MO; and many great nieces and great nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Paul and Dale Thomas; and sisters, Bertha Webster and Eva Crone. Funeral Service will be Monday, August 15, 2016 at 12:00pm at C.M.
