Harold E. Sinnes

Harold E. Sinnes, age 81, of Fort Wayne, Ind. passed away on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2022. Born Sept. 28, 1940, in Ponca City, Okla., he was a son of the late Jacob Paul and Mary Katherine Sinnes. Following graduation, Harold enlisted in the United States Navy at Treasure Island, San Francisco and was stationed in Saigon during the Vietnam War. Upon his return, he married Betty Mae and worked for Cessna in Kansas City, Kan., and GTE in Fort Wayne. Harold matriculated from Indiana Vocational Technical College with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Mae; daughter, Melanie Ann (Clifford) Schlatter; son, David Paul (Amy) Sinnes; former daughter-in-law, Pamela Jane Sinnes; grandchildren, Clifford Schlatter, Jacob (Alexis) Schlatter, Victoria Schlatter, Skyler Sinnes, Landon Sinnes, and Colton Sinnes; and great-grandchildren, Selena, Auron, Ezekiel, and Riley Noel. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3, 2022, at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Highland Park, 2403 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior.
