Harold L. Hullinger

Harold L. Hullinger, 88, of Fort Wayne, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Lutheran Life Villages in Fort Wayne. Born April 17, 1932, in Shepherd, Michigan, he was the son of the late Kenneth L. and Myrtle M. (Rogers) Hullinger. Harold spent his career in the asphalt paving industry, first at Muncie Paving and then 33 years with Brooks Construction in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He retired as Vice President of Operations at Brooks Construction. Harold enjoyed family times while living on Lake James in Angola and retirement years in Arizona. Harold is survived by two sons, Rick (Becky) of Fort Wayne and Les (Sandi) of Angola; four grandchildren, Rick (Melissa) Hullinger of Bloomington, Ryan (Amanda) Hullinger of Columbus, Ohio, Jarrett (Jamie) Hullinger of Goshen, and Jenna (Matthew) Hamm of Auburn. He is also survived by five great grandchildren, Clara, Adelle, and Eleanor Hullinger and Trey and Brett Hamm. Besides his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years, Patricia; and sisters, Jean Paxson and Joan McDermit. Private family service and committal at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that gifts in memory of Harold be directed to Lutheran Life Villages for the care of older adults in our community.
