Frank Raymond Benhower

Frank Raymond Benhower, age 57, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023 after a three year battle with cancer. He was born December 14, 1965 in Fort Wayne to Robert and Delores Benhower. Following graduation from Snider High School in 1984, he matriculated with an Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering at ITT Technical Institute, Fort Wayne. Frank began his career with NOB Brick on May 6, 1985 where he would remain until his passing. He would meet and marry the love of his life, Mary Lineman, on October 10, 2009. Frank enjoyed spending time at the beach, cheering on his beloved Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tom Brady, and instilled "magic" to everything including the holidays. He was an avid supporter of our United States military and active member of St. Joe Community Church. Frank's humorous demeanor was only surpassed by the love he had for family, especially his grandkids, and beloved dogs, Max and Roscoe. Frank is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Mary; children, Krystal (Kevin) Rennels, Alicia (David) Blackstone, and Renee (Dustin) Janson; fourteen grandchildren; parents, Robert and Delores Benhower; sister, Susan (Josh) Detwiler; several nieces and nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank (Hilda) Wisniewski and Raymond (Florence) Benhower. Funeral Service is 1:00 pm Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Lakeside Park with calling two hours prior. Friends and family will also be received from 5:00 - 7:00 pm Monday, September 25, 2023 at the funeral home. Interment at Riverview Cemetery, Churubusco, IN. Memorial Contributions may be directed to St. Joe Community Church, Humane Fort Wayne, or The Shepherd's House.
