Dustin Chad Spice

Dustin Chad Spice, age 41 was unexpectedly called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 16, 2021. Born May 1, 1980 Dustin worked as an engineer at BAE Systems for 16 years and enjoyed playing softball, bowling, grilling on his Blackstone, and most important to him was being around his loving family. Quick with a useless fact or a joke, Dustin's bright smile and warmth will be dearly missed by all. Dustin is survived by his wife Amanda; children, Evan Spice, Landon Spice, Logan Foster, Carson Smith, Dayton Smith; grandaughter Averie Smith; mother Sharon Spice; brother Brandon (Becky) Spice; father-in-law Greg (Michelle) Pollick; and mother-in-law Deb Topp. He was preceded in death by his father Calvin Spice; grandparents Stanley and Mary York, and Edward and Catherine Spice. A visitation for Dustin will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Funeral services will occur Thursday December, 30 at 11am with calling 1-hour before at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Burial will occur at Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery. Contributions in Dustin's memory may be made to the family for his children's education or to the National Kidney Foundation of Indiana.
