It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved, Donald Roy Kanable "Donny" on June 10, 2024 at St. Vincent's Ascension in Indianapolis, Indiana. Donny was born February 28, 1959 in Cardington, Ohio.
He served honorably in the United States Army finishing as an E4. Donny was a Body Shop Manager in New Haven and Fort Wayne, Indiana for over thirty years. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by his children Genessa Zickefoose, Ian Wagner and Nichole Hernandez; grandchildren Vini, Elijah, Amelia, Luciana and Jonas; Donny’s siblings also survive him – brother Michael Kanable, sister Julie Stier, sister Janet Baker, brother John Kanable and sister Mary Bane.
He is preceded in death by his father, David P. Kanable and mother, Jeanne M. (Burton) Kanable and his wife, Adrie Kanable.
Memorials may be donated to Wounded Warrior Project or any other Veteran Charities of donors choice in memory of Donny. Fond memories of Donny may be shared at www.domccombandsons.com for the family.
