DeWayne E. Trim

DeWayne E. Trim, 71, of Fort Wayne, passed away on April 6, 2015. Born on May 3, 1943, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Bernard E. Trim and Virginia E. (Fulmer) Lantz, proudly served his country in the Army and retired from International Harvester after 45 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Carol L. Trim; children, Douglas (Michelle) Trim and DeChelle (Donald) Rice; grandchildren, Logan Trim, Mackenzie Rice, Madeline Rice, Malia Rice and Dylan Trim. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Larry Trim. Funeral service will be 1pm Thursday April 9, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling from 10am to 1 pm, prior to service. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to the Indiana Search and Rescue Association or the Wounded Warriors Project.
