Deborah Ann Anderson

Deborah “Debby” A. Anderson, 75 of Fort Wayne, died November 6, 2024, at Parkview Regional Medical Hospital. Born on January 23, 1949, in Fort Wayne, she retired from the City of Fort Wayne after 21 years of service working as a Payroll Coordinator and Risk Manager. She worked for Perry Law office for a few years. She graduated from Central Catholic High School 1967. After graduating from high school, she attended Saint Francis College. She was a board President for Time Corners Little League Baseball in the 1980’s and had been on the Indiana District 10 Little League Baseball Staff since 1989. Debby met her beloved husband, Stephen “Steve” Anderson in 1970 who she later married in 1972. They were married 31 years before his death in 2003. In the summer, she liked to be outdoors and enjoyed going canoeing and fishing. She loved to garden and share with others the fruit of what she grew each year. She enjoyed crocheting various items for those she loved. She is survived by her daughter, Angie (Trent) Hossler of New Haven: son, Matt Anderson of Fort Wayne; grandsons, Jacob Pletcher of New Haven, Jarred Hossler of New Haven; sisters, Kathey Kinsey of Fort Wayne, Cindy (Kenny) Wilkins of Fort Wayne, Mary Neuenschwander of Fort Wayne; brother, Harry G. (Wendy) Jacobs of Fort Wayne; brothers-in-law, David Anderson of Montpelier, Ohio, James (Anne) Anderson of Indianapolis; and several loving nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Harry A. and Mary “Betty” Jacobs; her husband, Steve Anderson; her son, Jason Anderson; brother-in-law, Jerry Kinsey; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law C. Wayne and Dorothy Anderson. A time of sharing and visitation will be held at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819 on Sunday, November 17, 2024 Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
