Darlene J. O'Grady

Darlene J. O’Grady, 83, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home. She was born to the late Earl and Leota White on November 30, 1930 in Fort Wayne, IN. Darlene graduated from Central High School. She grew up in the country with her 6 siblings. She worked for the post office and GE for several years and was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church as well as the American Legion. She enjoyed movies, music, laughing and mostly she loved her family. She spent time taking care of everyone and was always there for anyone who needed her. She is survived by sons Terry, Donald and her daughter Kathy (Gary) and her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her first husband Kenneth Gross; second husband John O’Grady; son Mark; granddaughter Kelly Jo and her siblings. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church on Monday September 15, 2014 at 10am with calling 1 hour prior. Calling will be held on Sunday from 2-4 PM at the C.M.
