Cynthia Anne Schmidt, 74 passed away Wednesday January 27, 2021 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born October 9, 1946 in Fort Wayne to the late Robert and Marjorie Pease. Cynthia graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1965 and earned her Associates in Administrative Office Technology from Ivy Tech. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, making crafts, puzzles and playing scrabble.
She is survived by her husband Richard Schmidt of Ossian, IN; children, Tom (Cathi) Parrot of Fort Wayne, IN; Nick (Lisa)Schmidt of Markle, IN; Christina (Herbert) Beltz of Fort Wayne,IN; siblings Angela (Mike) Bair, Paula Pease, Lisa Houk, Robert (Buffie) Pease all of Fort Wayne and 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Cynthia was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Pease.
Funeral service will be 4pm Wednesday February 3, 2021 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home with visitation from 2-4 pm.
