Corinne Fulkerson

Corinne Fulkerson, 89, passed away November 3, 2023 at Towne House Retirement Community in Fort Wayne, IN, where she lived at the memory care facility for two years. She was born September 27, 1934 in Shelby, Ohio, the daughter of John Mac and Bernice Jane Crawford. Corinne was a graduate of Wittenberg University. After her children were raised, she was employed by Wildbirds Unlimited. She spent years volunteering at St. Joe Hospital’s gift shop with flower arranging. Corinne was a long time member of Trinity English Lutheran Church of Fort Wayne. Her interests included traveling, snow skiing (Fort Wayne Ski Club and the Sitzmarks Ski Club), and exploring nature by visiting National Parks, bird watching, camping and canoeing (Kekionga Voyagers Canoe Club). She loved entertaining with family and friends at their house in Fort Wayne and the Fulkerson Cottage on Lake Tippecanoe. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Dale Edward Fulkerson, of Fort Wayne, IN; son Scott (Casi) Paul Fulkerson of Crested Butte, CO; daughter Linnea Fulkerson of Fort Wayne, IN; and grandson Jesse Fulkerson of CO. Corinne was preceded in death by her brother Harry Crawford and her sister Ila Evans and Rose Rinker. Funeral service will be 10 am Monday November 13, 2023, at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home 4017 Maplecrest Road Fort Wayne, IN with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 2-5 pm Sunday November 12, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial at Lindenwood Cemetery.
