On June 22, 2024, Annie Marie Deeb passed away peacefully at age 85. Annie was the mother of two children. She is survived by her son, Alexander Deeb of Fort Wayne, IN; daughter, Sheila (Greg) Deeb-Marlow of Brookhaven, MS; sister, Susie Mabe of Fort Wayne, and brother, Alfred Shepherd of Middlesboro, KY; two grandchildren, Kira (Daniel) Marlow-Connell, and Alexandrea (Russell) Marlow-Bata; four great-grandchildren, Haylee Nadine Bessonette, Caleb Marlow Bessonette, Killian Lee Connell, and Joshua Russell Bata; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was an active member of St. John Chrysostom Church. She did not participate out of obligation, but because of who she was. She was always the first to offer help. She regularly brought meals to functions and gatherings. She was a friend to all, and knew no enemies.
Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Fouad "Fred" Deeb in January 2024.
Funeral service will be 10:00 am on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at St. John Chrysostom Church, 402 Badiac Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46845 with visitation one hour prior to service. Visitation will also be held from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at the church.
Memorials may be made to St. John Chrysostom Church.
Annie will be laid to rest in Highland Park Cemetery and Mausoleum, 2403 E Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, IN.
