Ann C. Dreyer, 78, passed from this life on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. She is enjoying new life with her savior Jesus and is more alive today than she’s ever been. She was born September 8, 1945, in Richmond, Indiana, the daughter of John and Juanita (Green) Chenoweth. She grew up sister to Johnny and Mike. She graduated from South Side High School, Fort Wayne and received a BA degree from Indiana University. On July 1, 1967, she married Norb and together they were blessed to raise Andy and Christy and were able to enjoy the gift of loving six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers, Johnny and Mike. She is survived by her husband, Norb; her son, Andy (Jen) Dreyer of Valrico, Florida, grandkids Jessica, Jake, and Emma; her daughter, Christy (Josh) Reasoner of Kouts, Indiana, grandkids Kaitlyn, Lydia, and Joel.
Although she was limited in her physical activity because of her lifelong battle with rheumatoid arthritis, she was unwavering in her faith in Jesus Christ and will be remembered by her family and friends as a courageous and faithful prayer warrior.
She held Paul’s words in (Rom 8:28) close to her heart: And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.
A memorial service will be 12:00 pm on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne with a celebration of life gathering beginning at 10:00 am. Family requests that memorials can be made to The Chapel or to Stillwater Hospice. Condolences and memories of Ann may be left online at www.greenlawnmpfh.com.
