Angela Dee Bjorge

Angela “Angie” (Caywood) Bjorge, November 11, 1959 – October 18, 2017. After a short illness Angie passed away at home. She loved life and especially all of her nieces and nephews. Her favorite time of the year was getting ready for Christmas. One weekend before Thanksgiving she would have all her nieces over to decorate their family room. Then another weekend the nephews to decorate the outside. In October she would start reminding everyone how many days until Christmas. She was also big on rescuing animals. She loved her 4 rescue cats. She retired from Ivy Tech after 32 years. More recently she worked for ACCDC.

Angie is survived by her husband of 37 years, Joel, mother Phyllis Caywood, brothers Donald (Cindy), Scott (Sheila), Timothy (Cathy) and a very dear friend Roger Collins that lived with them for 30+ years, a grandmother Hilda Caywood; nieces, Kara, Pam, Caroline, Sharon, Kimberly, Tiffany, Cathy and Bre; nephews, Danny, Robbie, Paul, Cody, Dallas, Zach, and Joey; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. Angie was preceded in death by her father Donald Caywood, grandfather Emanuel Caywood, Clarence (Sam) and Dorothy Sampson and a niece Ashley Caywood.

Funeral service will be 1pm, Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm, Monday, October 23, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Leo Cemetery, Leo. Memorial donations may be given to Cancer services of Northeast Indiana.
