William “Bill” Turner, Jr, 57 of Fort Smith, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. He was born on June 24, 1966 in Sallisaw, OK to the late William H. Sr. and Wilma Mankins Turner. Bill was a plant manager for Pepper Source and a U.S. Army veteran. He was of the Christian faith. Bill was a loving, caring and a bit stubborn at times. He was a very good and devoted grandfather. In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by two sisters, Lillie Troyer and Katrina Turner.
He is survived by five daughters, Tiffany Reese of Fort Smith, Krashawna Lubbe of Arkoma, Katelynn Honey and Nadia Whinery, both of Fort Smith, and Aleighsha Turner of Alma; a son, Andrew Hrenchir of Fort Smith; five brothers, Allen Arnold of Van Buren, Samuel Turner of Fayetteville, NC, James Turner of Mulberry, Lucas Turner of Fort Worth, TX and Gideon Turner of Whitney, TX, along with several grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Edwards Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 10:00 am Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow at the Fort Smith National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be James Turner, Andrew Hrenchir, Sam Rodriguez, and Allen Arnold.
