William C. Neal

William “Bill” Neal, 84 of Ft. Smith, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at his home. He was born September 12, 1933 in Hackett, Arkansas to the late Dewitt Clinton Neal and Lois Estell Glenn Neal. He was of the Baptist Faith, a U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army Veteran and retired from United Fabricators. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Grace Geneva Smith Neal, one son; John Daley Neal, and two brothers; Ocie Lee Neal, and Jerry Neal.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM Friday, December 1, 2017 at Fentress Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at the Old Union Cemetery in Hackett.

Bill is survived by his daughter; Bonnie Humphrey of Ft. Smith, five sons; David Neal of Van Buren, Harold Neal, Joe Neal, and Bill Neal all of Ft. Smith, and Dale Neal of Elkins, AR, his three sisters; Betty Harris of Greenwood, Nancy Lovell and Dottie Clark both of Hackett, three brothers; Harold Neal, James Neal, and Jack Neal all of Hackett. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the funeral home.
