Wayne Leroy Bean, 71 of Arkoma, died Sunday, February 16, 2014 in Fort Smith. He was born on March 8, 1942 in Stigler, OK. He was a retired truck driver for Times Container and a Baptist. He was the widower of Diane Bean. Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith. He is survived by his daughter, Nikki Adamson of Greenwood; two sons, Ricky Bean of Van Buren and Robert Bean of Arkoma; three sisters, Mayetta Payton of Arizona, Virginia Harris and Helen Smith, both of Fort Smith; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jacob Bean, Ryan Bean, Ray Dillard, Danny McNatt, Casey Allen and Lynn Ellison. Family will greet friends from 5-7pm Monday at the funeral home.
