Vera Ann Gregg

Vera Ann Gregg, 80, passed from this life December 27, 2024. She was born February 8, 1944 in Joplin, MO to Ted Arlen Scudder and Dorothy Marie (Whiting) Scudder. Ann was a Wal Mart Associate, and a member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, and she was a St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan.

She is survived by her husband, Richard; daughters, Rebecca McGann of Fort Smith, and Eva James of Jonesboro, AR; stepdaughters, Linda Kay Zimmerman of Hillsboro, WS., and Suzie Grenier of Tucson, AZ; her sister, Theresa McMillan of Joplin, MO; and her brother, Chester Scutter of Wichita, KS; grandchildren, Ashley Borders of Fort Smith, Lilly Borders of Fort Smith, Heather Sides of Crane, TX, Pedro Tobar Jr., Jason Borders, and Stephen Borders, all of Fort Smith, Dylan, Shea, and Kyla Coats, all of Crane, TX.

Funeral Service will be 12 Noon Monday, January 6, 2025, at First Baptist Church, with burial to follow at Fort Smith National Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church from 11 AM-12 Noon.
