Ruth Ann Hayes

Ruth Ann Hayes, 85, of Van Buren, died June 25 in Van Buren. She was born October 28, 1927, in Fort Smith to Roy and Effie Moseley Turner. She retired from Shipley Motor Co in the accounting department and had previously worked in auditing and accounting for the Sears & Roebuck Co. She volunteered, with her sister Dorothy, at RSVP and was a member of Park Hill Church of Christ. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Pat Espy and her husband Rick of Van Buren; a son Michael Hayes and his wife Vickie of Flower Mound, TX; her sister Dorothy Mae Turner of Van Buren; a sister-in-law Betty Turner of Springfield, MO; two grandchildren, Ryan K Remilliard and Jayne A McGinnis and three great grandchildren, Mikey and Andrea Korkames and Hayden Espy. She is preceded in death by her husband George C Hayes and her brothers,Marvin A. Turner and Harold M Turner. Funeral services will be at 2:00pm Friday, June 28 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00pm Thursday, June 27 at Edwards Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Mikey Korkames, Ryan Remilliard, Brett McGinnis, David Meek, Carl Dolan and Joe Turner.
