Ruby A. Mitchell

Ruby A. Mitchell, 93, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at St Edward Mercy Medical Center. Ruby was born October 13, 1918 in Calvin, OK to Nona and John Tendell. Ruby was a housewife and a member of the Butterfield Assembly of God. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, L. W. Mitchell; two sisters, Alma Lee and Velma Bowden; and three brothers, Bill Tendell, John Harper Tendell and Larry Tendell.

Ruby is survived by five sons, John Barton and wife Leona of Fort Smith, L. W. and wife Lorraine of Lowell, AR, Dennis of Greenwood, Larry and his wife Phyliss of Fort Smith and Mike of Wynne, AR; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Friday, January 20, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Butterfield Assembly of God in Van Buren. Interment will follow at U. S. National Cemetery. The family will greet guest Thursday January 19, 2012 from 5:30 PM-7:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home. All arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Colton Shibbelhut, John Ruth and her sons.
