Ronald McDonald, 70 of Ft. Smith passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018. He was born April 13, 1948 in Fort Smith to the late Vernon McDonald and Juanita Keck. He was the office manager for M & M Auto Sales and of the Baptist faith. He was a dedicated, good and loving husband, beloved uncle and friend to many. He was an old hippie, with his crown of flowing, golden, sunlit locks of hair and his emerald eyes that drew you in, revealing his generous soul within. He was fortunate enough to have attended Woodstock and would gladly share these stories to anyone willing to listen. He loved to do tie-dye shirts in his spare time and often gifted his work to many of his customers from the car lot. He also loved to go fishing as time allowed. He was a devout Dallas Cowboys fan as well as the Beatles. He was an advocate for the well-being and care of animals. He had a heart of gold, an unapologetically genuine human being and made a positive impression on all that knew him. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jodie McDonald and Jerry Morris.
A Celebration of Ronald’s life will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Fentress Mortuary Chapel in Ft. Smith.
