Rhonda Karen Grissom, 65, of Fort Smith, passed away February 15, 2024 in her home surrounded by family. She was born July 26, 1958 in Fort Smith to Bobby Sparkman and Shirley Vaughn Johns. She was a retired Assistant Manager for the Walmart Corporation.
She is survived by her husband, Michael K. Grissom of the home, her mother, Shirley Johns of Van Buren, two daughters Michelle Belknap and husband Brian of Popular Bluff, MO., and Kim Brashears and husband Korbe of Malvern, AR., one sister, Sabrina Cozzens and husband Jeff of Mayflower, AR., one brother, Robert Sparkman and husband Curtis Rhodes of Fort Worth, TX., one niece, Olivia Hyatt of Mayflower, AR., and Connie Grote, Margaret Thiele, Michele Turk, and Debbie Hightower her angels from God. She was preceded in death by her father Bobby Sparkman.
Funeral service will be Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Dora Cemetery. The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral at 1:00 PM on Saturday prior to the service.
