Mary Ann Witt

Mary Ann Witt, 75, of Fort Smith, died Sunday, March 20, 2011 in Fort Smith. She was born October 24, 1935 to Seth and Rose Thompson in Fort Smith. She retired from Cooper Clinic in 2006 after many years of service and she was a faithful member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church for over 50 years.

She is survived by one sister, Helen and her husband Roy Milligan of Fort Smith; two nephews, Clark and Steve Milligan both of Fayetteville, AR and one niece, RoseAnna Presley of Fayetteville. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Ann Witt and her parents Seth and Rose Thompson.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Cotton Presley, Clark Milligan, Steve Milligan, Spencer Presley, Joey Milligan and Danny Milligan.

The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 5:00-6:30 PM.
