Lisa A. Clayton

Lisa A. Clayton, 50, was born October 3, 1960 in Fort Smith and passed away on June 22, 2011 in Fort Smith. She was a homemaker, a member of the East Side Baptist Church, a member of the Euper Lane PTA where she was very active, and served as PTA President for two years. She served as the Secretary for the City Council PTA and received the PTA Lifetime Award in February of this year. Lisa made an amazing impact on the children, parents, teachers and staff at Euper Lane where her presence will be missed deeply. Lisa was a dedicated and devoted wife and mother to her husband and two sons, and an incredible friend to those she held dear.

She is survived by her husband, John Clayton, Jr. of Fort Smith; two sons, Tra and Zachary Clayton of the home; her parents, father & stepmother Charles and Linda Needham of Fort Smith, mother & stepfather, Margaret and Ron Semore of Arkoma, OK; three brothers, Bill and wife Glenda Needham of Pocola, OK., David Needham of Fort Smith, and Gary Needham of Fort Smith; one sister, Linda Cowell and husband Brad of Fort Smith; Nephews and Nieces, Gregg Needham and wife Jamie, Colton Needham, Austyn Robbins, Lexi Hicks, Jesse Brasuell, Sabrina Robbin and Dakota Johnson. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Alice Needham.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Oak Cemetery of Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Mike Davis, Glen Felterman, Brian Robinson, Curt Serjant, Robert Sebren and Joe Armstrong.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Needham, David Needham, Gregg Needhman, Greg Ridenour and the Euper Lane PTA.

The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Monday evening from 5-7 PM
