Jo Jean Marshall

She was born February 27, 1940 to Clifford and Iris Rose at the King’s Daughters Hospital in Temple, Texas. Jo’s father was a Baptist preacher and when she was 7, the family moved from Temple to Fort Smith to continue his ministry. She was a graduate of Northside Highschool. Jo spent her career as a med tech and phlebotomist. Jo was a jolly person full of happiness and loved her family dearly.

Jo is preceded in death by her son, Rusty Marshall; and brothers Terry and Teddy Rose.

Left behind to cherish her memory is her husband of over 65 years, Cecil Marshall; sons Heath Marshall and wife Kimberly and Tucker Marshall and wife Brittany; daughter Cheyanne Marshall; sister Joyce Martin; along with multiple grandchildren and other family and friends who will miss her dearly.

A visitation for Jo will be held Monday, November 18, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home, 201 N 12th St, Fort Smith, Arkansas. Funeral services will occur Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Following the service, Jo will be laid to rest at Fort Smith National Cemetery, 522 Garland Ave, Fort Smith, Arkansas.
