Jerry Baker, 77 of Ft. Smith passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015. He was born August 23, 1937 in Gregory, AR. He was a Baptist, a retired welder from the Pipeliner’s Union 798, and a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Baker, and his mother Myrtie Baker, his two sisters; Gail Edwards, Martha Jo Hooten, and four brothers; Bob, Calvin, Darrell, and Ross Baker.
Memorial service will be at 10:00 AM Friday, February 27, 2015 at Calvary Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Bobbie of the home, two sons; Mike Baker and his wife Lori of Greenbrier, and Andy Baker and his wife Monica of Van Buren, one sister; Claudine Cranford of Bebe, as well as his 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
