James William Seay, 95, of Fort Smith, passed away January 17, 2018 in Fort Smith. He was born April 8, 1922 in Calico Rock, AR to Tommie Marion and Ila Lillian McClellan Seay. He was a retired equipment supervisor for the Arkansas State Highway Department. He was a member of Oak Cliff Baptist Church, a 32nd Degree Mason with the Blocher #247 in Booneville, and he was a veteran of U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife Betty Jo of Fort Smith; and one daughter, Debbie Seay Lawler and husband Ronald of Fort Smith; one niece, Brenda Stewart of Moore, OK; one great nephew, Robert Stewart of Oklahoma City, OK.
Funeral service will be Monday, January 22, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the U.S. National Cemetery of Fort Smith all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Sunday from 1-3 PM
