Jack “J.C.” Rodden, 68 of Ft. Smith passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017. He was born November 24, 1948 in Ft. Smith to the late Jack Charles Rodden, Sr. and Frances Mavine Lewis Rodden. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church as well as a member of their choir, the Ft. Smith Chorale, The Riverblenders Quartet, an Assistant Scout Master, the Boys Scouts of America, and Woodmen of the World. He retired from Rheem Manufacturing after 36 years and was a Host at Olive Garden.
A Celebration of J.C.’s life with be held 10:30 am Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Eastside Baptist Church where the family will receive guests following the service.
J.C. is survived by his wife of 45 years, Renna Kay of the home, his two sons; Johnathon Rodden and his wife Shonna of Ft. Smith and Jack Rodden and his wife Brittany of Oklahoma City, and his five grandchildren; Elizabeth, Spencer, Danielle, Sueann, and Gage and his brother-in-law Emmett Beam of Corinth, Maine.
