Gina Sly

Gina Sly, 38, a loving wife, sister and friend to many, passed away October 13, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith. Gina was born July 24, 1978, in Milton, Florida to Virgil and Betty Lou Council. She was employed as a Deputy Clerk at the Sebastian County Circuit Clerk’s Office and was a member of New Life Church in Fort Smith. She married Mark Sly on December 12, 2012.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Mark Sly; two sisters, LaQuita Shotzman-Baker of Manchester, Tennessee and Glenda Campos of Imperial Beach, California; a niece, nephews, as well as many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Curtis Shotzman.

A Celebration of Life Service will be11:00am Saturday, October 22, 2016 at New Life Church, 9000 Dallas Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
