Felicia was born Felicia Carol Edwards February 25, 1969 in Nashville Arkansas. She attended Hope Elementary. She graduated with honors from Nashville High School in 1987. While at Nashville she was a member of the National Honor Society and the basketball team.
Felicia attended college at the University of Central Arkansas and attained a degree in elementary education in 1991. While at UCA she met her husband Abell Triplett Jr. They married in March of 1992. This union produced two special gifts. Their oldest son Biton was born on the 16th of April in 1993. Delaney, the youngest, was born December 16, 1995. She loved and nurtured her two sons with all her heart. With her proper and spiritual guidance both her sons attained college degrees.
Felicia's greatest joy was having a strong connection to God and his son Jesus. She faithfully attended Shady Grove Baptist Church. Her duties included being a member of the board of trustees, choir, and teaching.
Mrs. Triplett taught for 32 1/2 years in the Fort Smith School District. The first 29 1/2 on the staff of Tilles Elementary, and the last 3 at Darby Middle School. She cherished the many lunches with the "Tilles Crew," which included former members of the Tilles staff.
Felicia was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Acie and Evelyn Elliott and paternal grandparents Arnet and Lucille Edwards. She is survived by her parents Donald and Helen Edwards; her husband Abell Triplett Jr; sons Biton and Delaney; brothers Kevin Edwards, Cornelius Edwards, and Gerald (Tameka) Triplett; sisters Chakeytia Edwards, and Kenyetta Keel.
She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Pallbearers include Terrence Triplett, Damen Triplett, Bryant Crocker, Tyler Triplett, David Triplett, Gerald Triplett.
Public viewing will be available Friday afternoon from 1:00pm to 5:00pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00am to 1:00pm.
Funeral service for Felicia will be held Monday, October 21, 2024 at 11:00am at Shady Grove Baptist Church,111976 S 4780 Rd, Roland, OK 74954, followed by burial at Shady Grove Cemetery.
