Elizabeth “Lib” Findley, 93 of Muskogee, formerly of Fort Smith passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2011 in Muskogee. She was born November 22, 1917 in Hartford, AR to the late Sam and Emma Louise Valenceus. She was a Catholic and retired from Sears Roebuck and Company. She was preceded in death by her husband Claude Garland Findley, her daughter Shirley Curry, grandson Ralph Curry, two sisters and their husbands Mary and Ralph Tumblin, and Ann and Rudolph Limberg, two nephews Vincent and Buddy Limberg, as well as three son-in-laws Denver Curry, Jack Henderson, and Jim Knobelsdorff.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 5, 2001 at Calvary Cemetery in Fort Smith. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.
She is survived by her daughter Mary Knobelsdorff of Muskogee, OK, two grandchildren Misty Duncan of Moore, OK and Frank Curry of Pawhuska, OK, nine great grandchildren Ryan Curry of Tupelo, MS, Kelli Campbell of Vicksburg, MS, Eric Curry of Pawhuska, OK, Michael Curry of Pawhuska, OK, Joshua Curry of Vicksburg, MS, Brett Curry of San Diego, Aaron Curry of Vicksburg, MS, Ashten Duncan, and Chelsey Duncan both of Moore, OK and seven great, great grandchildren Matthew and Nathan Curry, Callie and Bo Campbell, Elizabeth, Donovan, and Caleb Curry.
