Eddie Phillips, 63, of Fort Smith passed away Monday, August 5th, 2019. He was born on April 8th, 1956 in Greensboro, NC to Edward Allen Phillips and Joyce Harrell Phillips. He was an excellent carpenter and worked for Port City Properties. Eddie was a very funny person, very full of life, and enjoyed making people laugh. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sonya Lynn Phillips and a brother, Thomas Phillips.
He is survived by daughter, Christy Phillips of Gulf Port, MS; three step-daughters, Tesla Guyton of Fort Smith; Kayla Guyton (Jonathan) of Fort Smith, Miriah Steele of Fort Coffee, OK; son, Todd Phillips of Long Beach, MS; step-son, Trey Steele of Fort Coffee, OK; sister, Susie Cunningham (Tommy) of Long Beach, MS; 11 grandchildren that he loved spending time with and many extended friends and family.
