Dorothy Earlene Duncan, 77, of Fort Smith died August 9 in Fort Smith. She was born May 6, 1936, in Lamar, AR, she was proceeded in death by her parents Earl England and Dorothy “Dot” Towe England. She was a longtime member of Evangel Temple, but most recently had been a member of Van Buren First Assembly of God. Dorothy had worked in home health, but her most important work was that of homemaker, wife and mother. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Rev. Harley “Willie” Duncan; her daughter Melissa Mason of Fort Smith; a son, Paul Duncan of Burnet, TX; a brother, Doyle England and his wife Jeanette of North Richland Hills, TX; four grandchildren, Andi Pass, Alex Duncan, Steven Mason and Tonya Shroyer; five great grandchildren, Chasittie Pass, Brayden and Starr Duncan and Kyle and Cammy Shroyer; two aunts, Della McCarley of Van Buren and Edra Anderson of California, as well as her nephew, Doyle Wayne England of Rowlett, TX. Pallbearers will be Alex Duncan, Brandon Pass, Doyle Wayne England, Cody Oliver, Darell Griffin and Matt Shroyer; Honorary Pallbearers Steven Mason and Larry Sharum. Funeral services will be 10:00am Wednesday, August 14 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
