Diana Lynn Noble

Diana Lynn Noble, a resident of Van Buren, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024. She was born on September 19, 1958, in Alamogordo, New Mexico, to the late Cleedie Lynn French and Melba Darlene (Miller) French.

Diana obtained her General Educational Development (GED) certificate at the age of 18 and pursued higher education in Business at the College of the Ozarks. Following her studies, she gained professional experience at Southern Steel and Wire located in Fort Smith, Arkansas. On May 7, 1982, she entered into matrimony with Ardie Dean Noble in Kingsland, Arkansas. The couple enjoyed a dynamic life together, residing in Nashville, Tennessee for several years. Diana was a passionate guitarist and singer-songwriter, actively participating in various bands throughout her life, dedicating herself to music, and expressing her joy through dance. Having been baptized at a young age, she maintained a deep devotion to her faith and regularly attended church services.

Diana is preceded in death by her parents, Cleedie and Melba French, her husband of forty-two years, Ardie Dean Noble, and her only brother, Christopher Michel French. She is survived by one daughter, Shelby Lynn Bowles of Wynne, Arkansas, and one son, Cleveland Dean Noble of New York. Additionally, her legacy includes five grandchildren: Christian Hart (spouse Abby), Walter Bowles, Lily Bowles, Bella Bowles, and Kayla Combs, as well as two great-granddaughters, Amelia Hart and Louella Hart. Diana is also survived by her sister, Darla Elaine French Newell Goins, and four nieces: Candy Pearson, Denise Edgar, Jessica Vickers, and Danielle French.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 pm Friday, December 20th at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, 201 North 12th Street, Fort Smith, AR. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, prior to the service.
