It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cynthia Hernreich-Beller of Mountainburg, Arkansas. Cindy went to be with her heavenly father on June 13, 2023, at the age of 79. Cindy passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
Cindy grew up in Fort Smith Arkansas and attended Christ the King and St. Anne’s Catholic Academy. Cindy went on to graduate from Maryville College of the Sacred Hearts, with a degree in Interior Design and a minor in French History. She returned to her home of Fort Smith and decorated numerous homes and businesses in Fort Smith and was voted one of the five best dressed women in Arkansas. While growing up, she worked alongside her father George at Esquire Jewelry store. She and her brother Bobby ultimately acquired ownership of KHBS 40/29, the ABC affiliate in Fort Smith/Fayetteville. The family sold the TV station to the Hearst/Argyle group in 1996.
She met and married the love of her life, Jerry Beller on October 21, 1995. They built a beautiful weekend retreat home in Mountainburg, Arkansas and loved it so much they moved there full time in March of 1999.
Cindy started a jewelry design company named Treasures of the Ozarks and did annual markets and shows across the country including the Dallas Chi Omega show.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Jerry Beller of Mountainburg, her brother Bobby Hernreich of Vail, Colorado. Her son Jed Graham and wife Kristin, daughter Celeste January and husband Richard, all of Dallas, Texas. Her legacy also includes three granddaughters: Jordan Graham, Alexandra Hill, and Meagan Eichenlaub, as well as two great-grandchildren.
She was loved, admired and respected by all that knew her, and she valued her family and friends as her greatest treasure. She will be missed and never forgotten.
She was a pillar of the community and involved with many iconic organizations.
A memorial service will be held at Christ the King, on Saturday July 15th, at 1pm, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
