Bill J. Johnson, 85, of Fort Smith, passed away Tuesday, November 19th, 2013. He was retired from Beverly Enterprise and an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by a daughter Teresa Ann Johnson. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday, November 22nd, 2013 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife Rosie M. Johnson, sons Gary Ross Johnson and wife Cheryl of Broken Arrow, OK and Jim King of Turley, OK, daughter Becky Ritchie and husband Bill of Muldrow, OK, sisters Gloria Hesser of Stillwater, OK and Delphine Dykes and husband Cecil of San Antonio, TX, brothers Jerry Johnson and wife Marlene of Amarillo, TX and Charles Johnson and wife LaJohanna of Edmond, OK, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Mark Haddock, Bill Ritchie, Alan Whitson, Bob Johnson, Keith Allen and Brad Walker. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Cooper, Jack Jones, Maxie Walker and Jason Shelton. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.
