Beverly Ann Hall, 79, of Lavaca, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at her home on March 18th, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. Her final days were spent surrounded by her family. Beverly was born on June 23rd, 1943 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She graduated from Fort Smith High School in 1961. She met the love of her life, Joe Douglas Hall, on the steps of First Baptist Church of Lavaca. They were married on September 20th, 1964.
Beverly’s life was defined by her faith in God and her love for her family. She was fierce in her defense of both. A Pastor’s wife who faithfully followed her Savior and her husband wherever God led. She was admired by those who knew her well, not only because of what she endured, but the faith and grace that she was able show in the midst of the battles. She left a great legacy of love and faith to her family. Her family knows that she is with Jesus and that He has welcomed her as a “good and faithful servant”.
Beverly Hall was preceded in death by her parents Elmo and Floriene Rose Lamb. She is survived by her husband Joe Douglas Hall; children: Joe Douglas Hall, Jr. (Amanda), Krista Hammer, and John Hall (Kandice); Grandchildren: Rebecca Hammer, Amber (Hall) Graves (Janson), Bradley Hammer, Justin Hall, Jimmy Hall, Rachel Hammer, Joshua Hall, Jeremiah Hall, and Jackson Hall; Great-Granddaughter Laney RaeLynn Graves; her siblings: Elizabeth Kay Newman (David), Richard Lamb (Dorothy), Dennis Lamb (Judi), and Wm. Pat Lamb (Lori). As well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be, 1:00 PM Friday, March 24, 2023, at Edwards Funeral Home in downtown Fort Smith, Arkansas. Burial at the United States National Cemetery, Fort Smith at 2pm.
