Betty Ann Sanders-Schleiff, 78, of Van Buren passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021. She was born on January 15, 1943 in Fort Smith to the late Martine and Anna Grober. Betty was of the Catholic faith and a member of the Cauldron Auxiliary. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Eugene F. Sanders, Sr. and her second husband, Thomas L. Schleiff.
Graveside Service will be 10:00 A.M. Monday at the pavilion of the Fort Smith National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
She is survived by her son, Eugene F. Sanders, Jr. and his wife April, of Van Buren; six grandchildren, Cris Sanders, Allyson Sanders, Ethan Hudspeth, Caleb Frisby, Nick Rainwater and Jeremiah Monson.
Public viewing will be from 12:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
