Bea made her transition from this earthly life on May 29, 2019 in Roland, OK. She was born in Bellefonte, PA. She worked at both the Palace and Ivey’s Drugstores in Sallisaw. Worked many years for Greg Stites Mini Mart. She also owned a small greenhouse called Beatrice’s Raintree Greenhouse. After being owner/manager of her own convenience store called Bea’s Fastop, she retired.
Beatrice did alot of volunteer work for the community. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother; received a life-saving course through the American Red Cross and helped teach beginning swimming to Sallisaw’s area youth. She also served as a volunteer for hospice.
Her everlasting loves were for her Lord, whom she served all of her life, her family, and her home state of Pennsylvania. She loved the high mountains, especially in the fall when they were full with the colors of autumn. Fall was also the best time when she loved to fish. She lived in Curtain Village as a child, then lived in Milesburg, a quiet and peaceful town; went to Bellefonte High School; lived and worked in State College, PA.
All of her travels in life took her to Washington D. C., Riverside, CA, Salina, KS; trips to Denver, Aspen and Loveland, CO. She made serveral trips to Israel; flew back countless times, through the years of 1965-2008 to her beloved home state of Pennsylvania in Centre County.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Sents and Edna Sents, two sisters, Nancy Sents and Mary Quici; one brother, Carl Sents; a great nephew, Lennon Elliot.
Survivors include two sons, Blakely Ray Smith, Jr. (Deanna) and Steven Smith (Susan) all of Sallisaw; six grandchildren, Shanna, Seth and Brylee Trenton Smith, Jessica Hadlie Webster and Jaylie Taylor; four great-grandchildren; one niece, Toni Lynn Quici and son Jagger Elliott of Roswell, NM; one nephew Perry Lee Quici and children, Alex, Bryan and Cara all of Corpus Christi, Texas.
Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Inurnment will be scheduled for a later date at Eagle Curtin Cemetery in Curtin, PA by Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home in Milesburg, PA.
