Alice Buckley went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 19, 2016. She was 104 years young. She was born on April 4, 1912. She was a resident of Methodist Village for the last two years and Mercy Crest Retirement Living Home in Barling several years prior.
She is survived by her grandson, Mike Carroll; and great-grandchildren, Alicia Carroll and Daniel Carroll,; a nephew, Earl Carter; great nephew, Jerry Carter and wife Laura Carter, as well as family spread out over the U.S.
Funeral service will be at the First Baptist Church in Mansfield, Arkansas on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Edwards funeral Home in Fort Smith.
The viewing services will be directed by Edwards Funeral Home, 201 North 12th Street, Fort Smith on Friday October 21st from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
