It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeffery Allen Fall, affectionately known to many as "Fallsie", at the age of 44. Jeff passed on October 8, 2024, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of warmth and humour.
Jeff is survived by his loving parents, Kathy and Bud Gillert, who were always by his side, supporting him through every journey. He also leaves behind his brother, Barry Gillert and his sister, Tobi Lysyk, along with her husband, Jason Lysyk. Jeff was a proud uncle to Douglin Lysyk, Gregory Gillert, Andrew Gillert, Boe Gillert, Luke Gillert, and his beloved niece, Kady Lysyk.
Jeff had a passion for the great outdoors, and he could often be found casting a line into the water, enjoying one of his favorite pastimes—fishing. He found solace in nature and had an extraordinary appreciation for the simple beauty of life. His deep connection with the outdoors was matched only by his love for his faithful companion, a bunny he affectionately called Monkey.
Jeff will be remembered for his creative spirit, his kindness, and his ability to find joy in life's simple pleasures. He touched the lives of many with his infectious smile and his deep love for his family and friends.
His family finds comfort in knowing that Jeff is now at peace, surrounded by eternal serenity, much like the peaceful waters he so loved. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Rest in peace
A Celebration of Jeff's Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 18, 2024 at First Memorial Funeral Services - Riverview Chapel, 11090 86 Avenue, Fort Saskatchewan, AB. Relatives and friends may pay their respects one hour prior to the service. Cremation to follow.
