Jim was predeceased by his parents Hugh and Helen Nichol and one sister Ruth Schneider.
Jim is survived by his loving wife Karen; two sons, Shane (Shawna) Nichol and their sons Bryce and Mason, Regina, and Chad (April) Nichol and their family Natalie and Alex, Qu’Appelle; one daughter, Brandice (Trent) Rayner and family Venice and Radek, Medicine Hat, AB; three stepsons, Darren Garrett, Christopher Garrett and Michael (Janine) Garrett all of Winnipeg, MB; one brother Glen (Carol) Nichol, Regina; three sisters, Marilyn (Frank) Paul, Moosomin, Sharon (Paul) Schauerte, Moose Jaw, and Lorraine (Mark) Fahlman, Regina; one brother-in-law, Dave Schneider, Calgary, AB; one sister-in-law, Brenda Runquist, Fort Qu’Appelle and dear family friends Barb Wild, Fort Qu’Appelle, Jody Sefton, Neudorf and Joe and Eleanor Bellefleur, Fort Qu'Appelle and also his many nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held at the Fort Qu'Appelle Senior Citizen Recreation Hall, 420 Broadway St. W, Fort Qu'Appelle, SK on Saturday February 21 at 1:30 p.m.
