Phillip Michael Lackey Jr.

Phillip Michael Lackey Jr., 61 born and raised in Fort Pierce, FL went home to be with the Lord on May 16th, 2023. Born on February 16th, 1962, to Willie Mae Lackey and Phillip Michael Lackey Sr. (Deceased). He is survived by wife of 25 years Wendy Slone Lackey; Daughter Maggie Lackey; Sister Beverly Avery (Andy); Mother-in-law Shelby Slone, Sister-in-law Kathy Mills (Terrence); Niece Kristyna Drawdy (Trevor); and great niece/nephew Winley and Weston Drawdy all natives of Fort Pierce, FL. Also many beloved aunts & uncles.

Phillip had strong belief in the Lord whether he was practicing his belief and faith in church, on a boat, or in a tree stand.He was a member of Southside Christian Church. He was employed with the St Lucie County Schoolboard for just shy of 35 years.

Some of his favorite hobbies included hunting, fishing (especially snook fishing), gardening, Nascar races,camping, and spending time with family and dear friends. Gone too soon and will be missed by many.

A visitation for Phillip will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Aycock Funeral Home, 6026 North US Highway 1, Fort Pierce, FL 34946. A funeral service will occur Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 1:30 PM to 2:15 PM, 6026 North US Highway 1, Fort Pierce, FL 34946. A graveside service will occur Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 6026 North Us Highway 1, Fort Pierce, FL 34946.
