Patricia A Diaz

She was born April 30, 1951, in Queens, NY, the daughter of Grace (Vath) Luff of New Hyde Park, NY and the late Harry Luff. Sister to the late Alan B. Luff. She was a longtime resident of Centereach, NY, moving to Vero Beach in 2010.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a loan officer for the Teachers Federal Credit Union at their home office in Hauppauge, NY.

She was an active member of the Vero Beach Elks Lodge #1774, currently serving as their Chaplain. She ran the bingo, Queen of Hearts and other games for the Elks. She was also active in the craft group at the Brackett Library, enjoying crocheting and making jewelry. Patricia also loved traveling and cruises.

Besides her mother, Patricia is survived by her husband of 48 years, Paul Diaz of Vero Beach; two sons, Gregory P. and his wife Stephanie Diaz of Richmond, VA, and Richard A. Diaz of Shirley, NY; three grandchildren, Anthony D. DiRaffaele of Front Royal, VA, Alexander G. Diaz of Richmond, VA, and Brooklynn R. Diaz of Shirley, NY; a brother, Edwin Luff of Sherborn, MA; a sister, Nancy Luff of New Hyde Park, NY; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at a later time.
