Loren E Linn

Gene was born in Jersey City, NJ, he has been a resident of Vero Beach for 11 years coming from Islamorada and Jupiter, FL.

Gene served in the Navy during the Korean War.

Prior to retirement he was a Sales Manager for Bankers Life and Casuality in South Florida for 35 years.

Gene attended Faith Baptist Church. He was a volunteer for the Ambulance Squad in Tavernier, FL, he formally served on the Pequannock Township Police Dept. in New Jersey. Gene also volunteered for Hospice in the Keys and was a lifetime supporter of the Florida Sheriff Youth Ranch. He was an auto enthusiast and a NASCAR fan.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Clair of Vero Beach, FL, daughters, Nancybeth Arnold of Tucson, AZ, Sharon Nicholas of Oviedo, FL., Joanne Claycomb of Stuart, FL, Carol Linn-Culp of Vero Beach, FL, Lauren Linn of Jupiter, FL., Lori Griffin of Lake Worth, FL, stepsons, David Flagler of Lockport, NY, Bruce Flagler of Gasport, NY, Regis Flagler of Lockport, NY, Dennis Flagler of Vero Beach, FL, sister, Mary Collins of York, PA, 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Tyler Flagler.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Faith Baptist Church of Vero Beach 7966 20th Street Vero Beach, FL. 32966. A burial with Military Honors will be held at South Florida National Cemetery at a later date.
