Joyce was born in Texas and had been a resident of Fort Pierce for 10 years coming from Hillsboro Beach, FL and Sacramento, CA.
Joyce was a member of the Riverview Baptist Church in Fort Pierce. She was involved in the Women’s Ministry’s and enjoyed sports, sunsets, arts and crafts and hot air balloons. Joyce also cared for her loving husband and family.
Joyce is survived by her husband of 51 years, Edward Vogel, of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters, Kim Schmidt, of Spring Creek, NV, Jodi McCowa, of Everett, WA, Stephanie Benedict, of Sacramento, CA; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 4-6pm on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Aycock Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. A Funeral service will be held at 2:30pm on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Riverview Baptist Church 4601 North Old Dixie Highway, Fort Pierce, FL 34946. An Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce, FL.
